Change Ringtones Blackberry 8330

Blackberry 8330 Questions???

Why is it that I only get a message tone for incoming emails sometimes. The phone does not alert me for all my emails or messages only certain ones. I have not changed the settings. I would also like to know if I could assign different ringtones for different contacts- how would I do that? Thanks.

hit advanced
click on the option you have highlighted Ex. “normal”
you will see a list of all your ringers like emails, texts, calls & etc.
Just click on the one you wan to change.
