Custom Ringtones Jailbroken Iphone

Is There A Way to Edit The Names of Custom Ringtones on an iPhone?

I downloaded custom ringtones from Cydia and I want to rename a few of them, is there a way to do this? I have the latest version of iTunes and the latest iPhone 3G, jailbroken.
I might use that in the future but I want to edit ones I currently have. Is there a way to transfer custom tones to iTunes?
