How do I send ringtones to my Razr with a USB cable?
I bought a USB cable today to send ringtones I downloaded to my cell phone, but I am confused as to how to get them on there. I downloaded a sync program from Microsoft, but that doesn’t work. Is there some program I should be using? It’s a Motorola V3 Razr, and I don’t really have any CDs or anything. My computer recognized the mobile device without needing a driver.
I also just tried to right click and select “Send to:” but no dice.
“Send to” works with Bluetooth if you have Bluetooth on the PC. You can get a Bluetooth dongle for the PC at any computer/electronics store.
To use the USB cable, you need a program like Motorola Phone Tools. Available at any AT&T store or online for abour $50. You can get Mobiledit! online for $25 at;

Both these programs will install their own drivers.
