How do I make personalized ringtones on the Droid Incredible?

Okay, so I just got my Incredible today. I downloaded a couple ringtones and they went into my music folder. I need to figure out how to make them appear on my ringtone menu. I’ve tried holding my finger down on top of them and it doesn’t say “make ringtone” it just says “add to playlist.” How do I make these songs ringtones so that I can use them?
