Free Vodafone Ringtones

If I purchase a ringtone/game or whatever with my mobile, will it charge me outside of my plan?

I am on a $20 for $150 credit cap plan with Vodafone, and I was wondering if buying something via sms would be charged outside of my plan, so I have to pay more than $20 when I receive my bill? Such as ringtones, mobile games, virtual world credits, etc.
And don’t send me a link to some website that gives you ringtones for ‘free’ or whatever, just answer the question. Thanks.
