There are so many types of phones in the market but what distinguishes them is the ringtone. This is because the type of ringtone that one has on his phone says so much about him.

There are several types of ringtone. There are Mp3, Mp4, Mr4, WAV, audio or visual ringtone though this depends with the bearer of the phone. There are some ringtone that are not compatible with other phones thus limiting the user of the phone to certain tones alone. With new technologies in the market, you can be able to customize a ringtone for your phone and make it unique in that you will be the only person in possession of such a tone. The process of creating your own ringtone is simple and easy as long as the correct procedure is followed to the letter.

This whole idea is excellent but you are limited to only the available tones on that site, but with correct guidelines, you can create your own ringtone. On the website, at the top menu, there is a make ringtone tab, click on it. There are many ringtones available at this tab but if you do not to get the one that satisfies you, you can create a tone from a file. This is possible in that on your PC, you can browse your audio file and upload it, after this process, you can now embark on editing the ringtone that you have selected. Not only can you upload a tone from your PC but also from other sites that have audio or video music. You then select the audio file that you wish to make. This can be Mp3, Mp4, WAV, Mr4 and so on. Select where to store the audio and wait for the selected file to upload and saved.

After the file has been uploaded and saved, you need to enter any relevant details of the ringtone such as the category, which include rock, RnB, reggae and other genres of music. You also need to give your ringtone a name, the artist and any other description though this is optional. In order to save the ringtone, it should not be copyrighted. You have to agree to the terms and conditions by agreeing that the file is not copyrighted. You will then be provided with the information about the tone in terms of format, size and duration, save the ringtone to create it successfully. You then need to click on a format that is compatible with your phone so as to play.

With these information and guidelines, you can be able to create as many ringtone as possible to your cell phone. You can also create several formats that you require and download them using a method that is compatible with your cell phone. This process is simple and free and does not restrict any person. It is time you pimped your cell phone with a unique ringtone for free.
