Iphones Ringtones Download

How do I set a ringtone I downloaded from iTunes as my ringtone?

Okay, so I’m pretty new to iPhones, but have gotten used to it pretty quickly. I just purchased an iPhone 4 a couple days ago. So I went to the iTunes store, puchased a ringtone. And sync’d it to my phone. The ringtone went into my iPod app under “songs”. I want to use that as my ringtone, but it’s not listed under “ringtones” in the settings area. How do I do it?
