Cellular Service – AT&T vs Verizon?

I currently have Verizon and am hoping to cut my costs and I am eligible for a discount at AT&T because of my current employer.
I’m just hoping for some feedback on AT&T’s service, coverage, and general experiences.
While Verizon’s prices are high & customer service is the pits, I have always had good reception and minimal loss of signal as I travel. That is why I have stuck with them.
I only have a cellphone (no home phone) and use maybe 50 – 100 minutes a month. I do a fair amount of texting, too. No data, no mp3 playing, minimal use of camera phone function. I do like the downloadable ringtones, though.

i had AT&T for years and was very happy with their services. i switched to T-Mobile because i liked the fav 5 options and their text packages. Let me give you a website to check out and you can check the phones and packages available from all of the providers. Most of the phones are free or next to nothing.
