How can I use the Mp3 Ringtones I have on my Sanyo Incognito as Ringtones?

I have a Sanyo Incognito as of now, through Boost Mobile. It’s a great phone, and has done everything I’ve wanted of it, other than the ideal of having ringtones that work. I have mp3′s on it, as ringtones, but I can’t set them. I’ve tried Ventones and Myxer, they don’t work. Help?
