Cellphone ringtones costs?

My cell is prepaid so I have to either pay for a $10,$25, or $50 card. And some places it says a certain ringtone costs like $2. If I buy that would it take away money from my prepaid card or is that another different charge by itself. If it matters I have a Telus LG Keybo 9100 in Canada prepaid.
