Put Ringtones Samsung Exclaim

software for samsung exclaim?

im getting the samsung exclaim, with the usb cord and memory card, can i put music on it and not use a software for it, or do i? and also can i use the music as ringtones? so do i need a software for it? or for an example can i use itunes to send music to it?

you need the cord to trnsfer music but it doesnt have to be through the software.use the setting mms on your phone and then right click on what song you want and transfer to whatever usb line your hooked up to.u cant use them as ringtones because they are too big of files.they have sites ive seen mentioned here that can do it.one is called ventones and another phonezoo i think.you break the song down to about 19 second clips then transfer them.itunes can be put on the phone but can only be used as ringtones if you convert them to mp3′s.its a pain to do.ill see if i kept the way to do it and get back to you
