Ringtones Pcs Digital

What’s best for a ringtone?
Midi or Mp3?
Ok I know midi can probably play better since it’s.. some kind of digital tone that’s meant for cell phones, right? Ok but say you have a nice phone, one of the lastest. Or perhaps one that plays mp3 songs. Will the quality really be that bad?
Basically.. If I can get an mp3 ringtone to sound good, what kind of phone do I need? Oh ya! And say you already have a bunch of ringtones on your PC. If I bought a cell one day, what should I look for to make sure I can transfer those ringtones over.
As far as ringtone quality you won’t notice any difference
I use the 8525 and can use anything from amr to wav files for ringtones and cant’t tell a difference from one to the other
A phone speaker isnt going to play at a good enough quality to tell the difference
Most of the time i use mp3 or wma because it is more convenient
When you are looking at a phone just look at what ringtones it can use
Then see what kind of software and hardware you have to have to transfer it
Normally you have to have some type of sync software and a usb cable to connect it
Find out if all of it comes with the phone or if you are going to have to buy it separate
