Ringtones With Itunes 9.0

How does Ventones work with the new itunes (9.0.3)?

I’ve been putting ringtones on my iphone for months now. Recently, I’ve tried making ringtones agaom for my iphone 3GS and when i dragged it to itunes, it wouldn’t work. It just goes into music, but not into ringtones. Have any of you had this problem?
Well, usually it would say “mp3 or ringtone” but right now, it only says mp3. I’ve downloaded the song again and tried the ventones again. All I can do is drag it to my ringtone, but it doesnt show up. instead it goes to my music.

I think I know what your problem is

I’ve used ventones a lot for my ipone as well and I just updated to the 9.0.3 version the other day and it works PERFECT!!

Do u know what format the ringtones are that you are downloading?

Should be .m4r when u download it from ventones.

I think think THIS IS UR PROBLEM

You are transferring the mp3 version of the ringtone because you forgot to press the

CLICK HERE FOR YOUR IPHONE RINGTONE

button!!

Once u click on the button you will see a new link for the iphone ringtone… Which you need to make sure u save as .m4r extension !!!
